[Press Release] America's Warrior Partnership (AWP) Announces Strategic Partnership with U.S. Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service

AUGUSTA, GA — February 26, 2024 — America's Warrior Partnership (AWP), a leading veteran national nonprofit dedicated to preventing veteran suicide and supporting veterans, their families, and caregivers, is proud to announce its new partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) for the agency’s Employment Navigator and Partnership Program (ENPP).

The ENPP is a critical initiative that provides invaluable career assistance to transitioning service members and their spouses at select military installations worldwide. This program expands upon the classroom instruction offered by the agency's Transition Assistance Program (TAP) by offering personalized one-on-one support through Employment Navigators. These Navigators play a pivotal role in connecting service members with the resources and partners necessary to facilitate a successful transition from military to civilian life.

The AWP Network is a national coordination platform that expands the reach of local veteran serving organizations by connecting them to national resources. Additionally, the AWP Network works with veterans, their families and caregivers to individually and holistically identify problems and find one-size-fits-one solutions through its vast network of partners.

"The partnership between AWP and the U.S. Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service is a logical and impactful partnership in collectively  supporting our nation's veterans," said Jim Lorraine, President and CEO of AWP. "By aligning our resources and expertise, we can better serve transitioning service members and their families as they navigate the challenges of transitioning to civilian life."
