Helping the Navajo Nation Veterans in Dire Need of Essentials

On a struggling Navajo Nation, unfortunately, many are living without basic, modern necessities. Access to electricity and water still does not exist in some areas. Food insecurity is consistent among those who live on the 27,413 square miles of desolate land. Knowing this, Diné Naazbaa Partnership (DNP) is constantly working to support Navajo veterans and their families.

DNP collaborates with local resource partners, service providers, community organizations, and businesses to host resource drives to help alleviate these detrimental issues in all 110 communities. These events attract hundreds of veterans, family members, and caregivers to obtain necessary resources. The food, firewood, water, and clothing these collaborative efforts provide sustain the overall quality of life for Diné warriors.

This year, DNP’s goal is to host four resource drives at $25,000 each for a total fundraising amount of $100,000, but we can’t do it alone—we need your help. Together, we can make a huge impact to serve our Navajo veterans as they have served us! Your dollars will fund outreach, logistics, and follow-up to ensure the Nation is connected to much-needed resources.
