Fostering Stability for Resilient Veterans: AWP Network Support

Even the most determined individuals can find solace in a helping hand, especially when faced with unforeseen challenges. No matter how large or small, the AWP Network team addresses each veteran’s unique case with care and attention. This was the case for Denise Quan*, an Army veteran (’15-’20) who turned to the AWP Network for stability to regain her footing.

After serving in the Army and living with a 100% VA disability rating, Denise recently found herself unemployed. While seeking employment, Denise unfortunately encountered a double blow when a leak in her HVAC unit led to an inflated electric bill. Determined to overcome the challenge, she promptly covered the HVAC repair costs, only to find herself unable to meet her car payment. Denise combed her community for resources but quickly realized that it was an uphill battle she might not be able to tackle alone. After speaking with a fellow veteran about her situation, the veteran referred her to the AWP Network.

"You've helped change parts of my life that were being destroyed. Without your organization, I would be lost! Thank you so much and best blessings to you" – Denise Quan, Army Veteran

Fortunately, the AWP Network found a donor to provide Denise with the amount she needed to cover her bill and a little more to help her while she searches for a job. AWP takes pride in consistently fostering a reputation of support for veterans like Denise, ensuring they never confront challenges in isolation.
