Allison is responsible to develop and manage learning opportunities in order to ensure that all partners in the Community Integration affiliates have the knowledge and skills that they need to achieve world-class performance levels.
If you ask Allison about her background, she will describe herself as an ardent educator with a zest for teaching and learning. After graduating from Furman University in Special Education, she taught students with learning disabilities in grades Pre-K through eighth. For the last 13 years, Allison worked as a Literacy Specialist for an Education Publisher, focusing on improving the literacy skills of students through the professional development of teachers.
Allison’s Grandfather served in the Army during WWII and her father-in-law was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart for his service during the Korean Conflict.
